DUBAI DESIGN DISTRICT QUARTER OF DESIGNERS STARTED IN DUBAI, THE PROBLEM OF WHICH IS TO TRANSFORM THE EMIRATE TO A HIGH FASHION CENTER AND MAKE A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN TOURIST FLOW. CONSTRUCTION OF THE FIRST QUALITY OF THE PROJECT WILL BE COMPLETED IN JANUARY 2015. TECOM INVESTMENTS ALREADY INVESTED IN THE CONSTRUCTION WORKS 4 BILLION DIRHAMS (US $ 1.1 BILLION). Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Qtum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, attended the official ceremony of the start of construction of the project and noted that the new area will be located next to the Business Bay area.
It is expected that the new district will become a full-fledged commercial center for industrial companies and organizations, as well as famous brands and enterprises. Residential, commercial, retail and hotel projects will be built in the Dubai Design District. The master plan of the project involves the equipment of boulevards, pedestrian walkways, a shopping area, an amphitheater and a business center. The construction of a new district will help strengthen the status of Dubai as a world tourist and hotel center.
