DUBAI COMPANY EMAAR PROPERTIES MARKED ACHIEVEMENT OF NEW SUCCESSES BY STARTING THE WORLD'S FIRST TRAM IN THE WORLD DUBAI TROLLEY, OPERATING ON HYDROGEN FUEL WITH ZERO HAZARDOUS EXHAUST. Its New Dubai tram, running along Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, will be the first vehicle in the region to offer visitors and residents of the Downtown Dubai area easy access and ease of travel.
Currently, a driver-driven tram with a one-kilometer route offers its passengers comfortable movement and easy access to attractions such as the famous Burj Khalifa Tower, The Dubai Mall and Souk A1 Bahar.
The Dubai Trolley Tram also provides convenient transport links between three world-class hotels: The Address Downtown Dubai, Vida Downtown Dubai and Manzil Downtown Dubai, allowing guests to enjoy an unforgettable stay in a vibrant neighborhood in one of the world's most prestigious locations.
The 50-seat double-decker hydrogen tram was designed with maximum safety in mind. The tram operates from 4 p.m. to midnight on weekdays and from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. on weekends.
In addition, there are three beautifully styled air-conditioned stations in the area where passengers can relax while waiting for the tram. Stations are located near The Address Downtown Dubai, Vida Downtown Dubai and Manzil Downtown Dubai. Guests can enjoy drinks and snacks at the end station near Old Town Island.
Following the commissioning of the entire tramway, the Dubai Trolley route will be 7 km along Downtown Dubai. For pedestrians, special crossings through tram tracks will also be equipped.
