Al Mansour Dhow. Dubai Creek Walk

Sometimes you want to board a ship and go along Dubai Creek, look at the historical areas of Dubai and architectural structures. We chose the walking dow Al Mansour, which along with the cruise also offered a beautiful dinner on board.

what such Al mansour dhow

Al-Mansur is a wooden dhaw boat decorated with glittering lights along its entire length. She stands on the pier in Deira Bay, next to the five-star Radisson Blu Dubai Deira Creek Hotel and belongs to him. Al Mansur was once a cargo ship sailing between the UAE and India, so it looks exactly what you would expect from an Arab ship: with old-fashioned wooden details, Arabic rugs and soft pillows.

You will be met on the pier and taken along the red carpet up the wooden steps to the upper deck, where there are tables for dinner and a stage for Arabic dancing is equipped. You can either sit here on the outdoor terrace, or down in the cool air conditioner (but you can combine both options).

Dinner on the eastern side is generous. You will be offered Arabic and Indian food, including traditional appetizers, barinas, curries, salads and many vegetarian dishes. Among other things, here is an excellent selection of desserts and you can always chat with the chef, who often happens on the ship and watches the dishes. We recommend not to refuse the Um Ali dessert - a sweet pudding with bread, nuts, raisins, honey, cardamom, cinnamon and a drop of pink water.

The waiters are polite and attentive. They will not only serve you well, but also tell you what sights you are passing by. Live Arabic music will create the right atmosphere during the cruise.

What can be seen while walking

The ship is sailing past the Gold Market and Dubai Spice Market. On the horizon glistens the tower of Bourges Khalifa and downtown skyscrapers. You can feel the charm of nostalgic Arab travels, as once in the past. In addition, you can see the new promenade and the Shindag area - the old historic quarter restored by the government of Dubai, which tells the story of the city that preceded the modern metropolis. Thanks to the efforts of Sheikh Mohammed, this area has recently been ennobled and made suitable for visiting by tourists. Here you can get acquainted not only with the Emirate's architectural heritage, but also visit many cozy cafes and restaurants near the Gulf.
