A unique exhibition BVLGARI has opened in the Moscow Kremlin

At the first BVLGARI exhibition in Russia in Russia, more than 500 jewelry were presented.

On September 7, 2018, the Moscow Kremlin Museums opened the doors to Russia's first retrospective exhibition, The Charm of Femininity. The Magnificence of Roman Jewels.

Over 500 jewelery showcasing the evolution of the Bvlgari style for over 130 years amid changing women's taste preferences. The creations presented honor women who set their own rules and choose Bvlgari jewelry to express themselves.

Lucia Boscaini, Bvlgari House Heritage Director, noted: “It is a great honor to host the groundbreaking Bvlgari exhibition at the Kremlin Museums. Thanks to their invaluable support, we are turning to the study of femininity for the first time, uniquely linking Bvlgari's unmistakably recognizable design to cultural and fashion trends "We want to show how jewelry embodies the personal style of a woman while reflecting the spirit of the times."

General Director of the Moscow Kremlin Museums Elena Gagarina added:

“While preparing an exhibition together with our colleagues, we wanted to not only show Bvlgari's works of amazing beauty to visitors to the Kremlin Museums, but also to demonstrate the specificity of these jewelry, to show that in the life of a woman of the 20th century they always played not only an aesthetic, but also a social role." .

The exposition in the Assumption belfry and the Patriarchal Palace is divided into two independent and at the same time complementing each other parts. The unique jewels from the first section demonstrate with their diversity the expanse of imagination and the power of cult collections. Here you can find the "secret" jewelry of the brand - for example, the stunning tiara of the 1930s, beautifully combining aquamarines and diamonds that Princess Olympia Torlonia put on for her wedding.

The creations of the blooming era “Dolce Vita” remind of the starry surroundings of the House. The exhibition features a complete vintage collection owned by Elizabeth Taylor. It includes a necklace with 17 Colombian emeralds and a sautoir with a pendant decorated with a hypnotizing sapphire “sugar head” of more than 60 carats - both jewelry were donated to the actress by her husband, actor Richard Burton. Among the other impressive exhibits exhibited for the first time is the collection of Italian actress Anna Magnani, including the incredible creation of the House - the ring Trombino with an outstanding diamond of over 25 carats. Italian beauty Gina Lollobrigida adored emeralds, her platinum earrings with emerald drops convey her inimitable charm.

The second section is reserved for Bvlgari collections that have earned the status of cults: Serpenti, Monete, BVLGARI BVLGARI and Parentesi, as well as modular jewelry. Original and easily recognizable motifs captured the mood of the society of his time, as did the Roman spirit of the House.

Visitors will be able to enjoy avant-garde immersive video installations and digital elements that transfer to a world of unlimited beauty. The multi-sensory sensations are provided by the music selected for each room and the iconic Bvlgari fragrance distributed in the rooms to accompany guests on an exciting journey through the Bvlgari world.

To emphasize and enhance the effect of the exhibition in the Kremlin Museums, Bvlgari installed a thematic installation of photographs and jewelry in GUM - the most elegant and legendary shopping center in Moscow, founded over 120 years ago. A dedicated exhibition website, tributetofemininity.bulgari.com, allows guests to discover the magnificent jewels of the exhibition and learn about the countless celebrities who wore them.

On September 6, on the eve of the opening of the exhibition, a closed party was held at the Pashkov House on the occasion of this event, which was attended by celebrity guests. Among them are Alicia Vikander, Eva Green, Caro Daur, Georgia Tordini, Gilda Ambrosio, Ornella Muti, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Elena Perminova.
