In the United Arab Emirates announced a record increase in fuel prices

Next month, the price of gasoline in the United Arab Emirates will rise.

The UAE announced fuel prices in April. It can be judged that this is the most significant price increase this year.

Super 98 gasoline rose 9.85% to 2.23 dirhams ($ US 0.61) per liter. The price of a Special 95 liter increased by 9.89% compared with the previous month - up to 2.11 dirhams ($ US 0.57). A slight increase of 3.3% occurred with diesel prices - up to AED 2.49 ($ US 0.68).

Oil prices rose about 30% this quarter after OPEC and its allies agreed to cut global production. US sanctions against Iran and Venezuela also contributed to higher prices.
