Features of the technical equipment of the cabin of the newest Russian limousine Aurus were evaluated by the Zvezda correspondent at the IDEX-2019 arms exhibition in Abu Dhabi.
Inside, the Aurus is finished with leather and wood, and on the dashboard, instead of the usual dial gauges, two monitors are placed, on which the necessary information is displayed.
Passenger seats are equipped with a multimedia system, and instead of two windows on the sides of the car, screens are installed that display the image from external cameras.
The luxury car is on display at the emirate holding Tawazun.
Earlier, Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov said that Russia plans to produce a number of luxury Russian Aurus models at Tawazun facilities in the UAE. Manturov specified that, most likely, the model assembled in the UAE will be a multifunctional SUV suitable for their geography.
Aurus (from lat. - "gold" and "Russia") - the Russian brand of representative cars. The project "Cortege", known as the "Unified Modular Platform", has been developing since the end of 2012 by the Federal State Unitary Enterprise NAMI. The full family will include a sedan, a limousine (as an option - armored), a minibus, an SUV and a motorcycle. The cars received all-wheel drive and a hybrid powerplant with a 598-horsepower V8 petrol engine with a volume of 4.4 liters.
