A six-week shopping festival called Retail Abu Dhabi Season kicks off in the UAE's capital.
Dubai, UAE. A six-week shopping festival called Retail Abu Dhabi Season kicks off in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The festival, which runs from December 26 to February 5, is attended by more than 650 stores offering discounts on products up to 90%.
The author of the idea is the Department of Tourism and Culture of the capital of the UAE: it will bring together shops, restaurants, shopping malls and hotels that have prepared special offers and packages. There are also prize lotteries in which winners will be selected daily, weekly and based on the results of the festival.
According to the authors, the festival will be a significant help to shopping malls and shops and will contribute to the growth of tourist flow, and ultimately to the strengthening of the emirate’s economy. Further information can be found at www.radseason.ae.
