An operator from the UAE launched a new application for audio calls

Etisalat has launched a new VOIP application in the United Arab Emirates.

Telecommunications operator Etisalat has unveiled the third HiU Messenger app for audio and video calls.

Messenger users will be able to communicate with each other using VoIP technology. The application also offers a chat that supports 200 contacts.

The new offer will go into existing Etisalat tariffs for VoIP applications and will cost 50 dirhams ($ US 13.6) per month for one device and 100 dirhams ($ US 27.2) per month for several devices. The first two weeks of using the application are free.

HiU Messenger is the third allowed VoIP solution in the country after BOTIM and C'Me.
