Dubai accounts for one third of all Middle East tourism revenue

Dubai generates almost a third of all tourism revenue in the Middle East region.

According to a new report by the United Nations World Tourism Organization, Dubai's international tourism revenue last year was AED 77.5 billion ($ US 21.1 billion), representing almost a third (31.1%) of all Middle East tourism revenue .

In addition, the volume of these revenues increased by 8% compared with last year.

The report said that last year the Middle East received a total of 58.1 million visitors, up 4.6% from a year earlier.

According to the results of an international study, it was found that the inhabitants of Russia are among the top ten travelers who spend more than the rest around the world.
