The main difference between mPark and traditional methods of paying for parking with coins and RTA credit cards is the ability to pay for parking time away from the car. To make a payment, the motorist needs to know the code of the parking zone where he leaves the car: the code will be written on all parking machines. Then you need to send an SMS message to number 7275 (an analogue of the word PARK), containing the car number, parking zone code and the end time of the parking period. Parking fees will be charged to your mobile phone balance. After the payment has been charged, the user should receive a confirmation message in the form of an SMS message from the central computer of the system, and payment information should be sent to the parking assistant. 10 minutes before the end of the paid parking time, an SMS message with a reminder will be sent to the motorist.
Payment can only be made from the Etisalat telecommunications company number. For mPark services, 30 fils will be charged at a time for each transaction. Owners of cars registered in Dubai can use the service at any time, without prior registration. Owners of cars with license plates of other emirates, first need to register at www.mpark.rta.ae, get the system username, which will then be used for payments.
