Tourists from Dubai will not be able to bring gadgets on flights to the USA

The United States is going to limit the transportation of large electronics on flights from the UAE.

Dubai, UAE. The Donald Trump administration is going to ban the transport of electronic devices on flights arriving from the Middle East. The ban is expected to affect the UAE's national carriers - Emirates Airline and Etihad Airways: for example, their passengers will not be able to take any equipment larger than a smartphone with them to the cabin.

It is also expected that the ban will not apply to medical devices that ensure the livelihoods of passengers. It is reported that restrictions may affect 13 countries. The US administration promises to provide detailed explanations regarding what is happening in the near future.

According to some sources (airlines do not officially confirm it), the ban has already entered into force on March 21, and airlines have only 96 hours to ensure compliance with the new standards. Thus, if you fly to the USA the other day, you will not be able to work on a plane on a laptop anymore - it’s better to take books to the salon.
