In 2011, bilateral Ukrainian-Emirate cooperation continued to strengthen. A new impetus was given to him by a visit to Ukraine by the UAE Foreign Minister, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The visit resulted in the creation and beginning of regular work of the Ukrainian-Emirate Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation. In the same year, the Emirate companies Flydubai and Air Arabia began to operate regular flights to Donetsk and Kharkov, thereby providing new opportunities for business and tourism.
In honor of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of independence, the exhibition hosted exhibitions of unique three-dimensional holograms presented by the Ukrainian EDAPS consortium, as well as collections of paintings "Nostalgia" by Ukrainian artist Svetlana Osobik.
