Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority Receives 2011 World Travel Awards

The Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) has won two prestigious travel industry awards at the World Travel Awards-2011. The jury noted his achievements in the development of "responsible tourism" and international marketing. The prize giving ceremony was held in Doha, Qatar.

Management became the best in two categories, receiving the “Middle East's Responsible Tourism Award” and the “Middle East's Leading International Marketing Campaign.” Its closest competitors in these categories were India and Spain: Claire Micheletti, Marketing Director, and Musa Al Shamsi, Brand Manager, received awards on behalf of ADTA.

It should be noted that the evening of the World Travel Awards 2011 was the "high point" for the emirate of Abu Dhabi: the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers was recognized as the "Best Developing Hotel"; the famous five-star Emirates Palace hotel has received awards as the "Best hotel for holding meetings and conferences" (World's Leading Meetings & Conference Hotel) and for the "Best Presidential Suite" (World's Leading Presidential Suite); The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) was honored with a prize as the World's Leading Meetings & Conference Center; Royal Jet Group has become the World's Leading Private Jet Charter.

Finally, Etihad Airways won three awards at once: World's Leading Airline First Class, World's Leading Airline First Class, and World's Leading Airline to the Middle East).
