The world's largest gold ring again exhibited in Dubai

Kanz Jewels jewelry boutique has once again put on display the world's largest Najmat Taiba gold ring weighing 64 kg and worth 11 million dirhams (US $ 3 million).

The precious jewelry listed in the Guinness Book of Records has become another attraction of the Dubai Trade Festival 2012, which took place in the city from January 5 to February 5. To enjoy the unique ring, the boutique was visited by such stars as Nicolas Cage, Stephen Seagal, Brian Lara, Jackie Schroff, Gulshan Grover and Sunil Shetty.

The Taiba Star, made by the Taiba jewelry company from Saudi Arabia, with the support of the World Gold Council, is adorned with Swarovski gemstones weighing 5.1 kg in total. 55 jewelers worked on the creation of the precious product for a month and a half.

Dubai is one of the most important gold trading centers in the world. According to Dubai Customs, from January to September 2011, Dubai imported rough gold worth 58.9 billion dirhams (US $ 16 billion). “Our world's largest gold ring is also the most frequent guest in camera lenses. We made it in 2000, when the price of gold was only 917.5 dirhams (US $ 250) per ounce. It inspired many to buy its copies in our stores, "said Anil Danak, CEO of Kanz Jewels Jewelry Boutique.
